This is a rather nice yarn, didn’t arrive with the rest of the Rosarios and so I forgot all about taking it’s picture and making it famous.
A blend of 60% milk fibre (HOW??) and Australian wool (don’t worry, I understand the basics of sheep fibre) it’s soft and lofty, 50 grams will stretch 95 metres and on the heavy side of DK I reckon this’ll knit up quick on 4/5mm needles; it’s also machine washable at 30′C. I’ve got three colours to start with, cream, a mix of browns and the mix of teals above and I’ve also been able to get a great deal on this first batch so it’ll be just £2.50 a ball (usually £4)
Here’s another one from Rosarios 4…
… this really is very nice! It’s 100% milk protein and soft, soft, soft. A 50g ball is 98metres, hand-wash only, and mum knitted up this swatch on 4.5mm needles.
The Solo Latte is still in my box of Yarns-I-Want-To-Stock but I hope to get it into the shop before summer. It’s going to sell at about £10 a ball. Again, let me know what you think!
The next update will include:
- Nicsknots Needle Rolls
- Mum knits Manos
- More from my Yarns-I-Want-to-Stock box…
